1958 Buick Special Convertible

Having recently finished an extensive cosmetic restoration, this 1958 Buick Special Convertible epitomized the over exuberance of the late 1950s.  Few cars have ever been adorned with more chrome and stainless.  Although not terribly rare (5,502 were made), in my opinion, they were one of the most beautiful. 

The motor has been rebuilt and restored, and is awaiting its marriage with the chassis after more than 20 years apart.  The continental kit on the back was not a factory option, rather a dealer option and very few had one.
