1979 Pontiac Trans Am Coupe

 Is there a more iconic “must have” car from the late 70′s than a Pontiac Trans Am? Every guy wanted one.  In fact, in 1979 Pontiac made over 100,000 Trans Ams.  Yet, despite that large number, only 1,000 were made with the Y78 option – which bought you a four-speed transmission.  Now that’s driving.

Our car has only 441 original miles and was the victim of poor storage prior to our acquisition – so some tidying up is in order.  The “chicken” on the hood reminds of Cannonball Run – with Burt Reynolds and the famous Black and Gold Trans Ams that he drove.
