1982 Corvette
1982 Chevrolet Corvette
1982 was the last year of the “stingray” or “shark” bodystyle – and the entire 3rd Generation Corvette. Although all Corvettes were now being made in Bowling Green, Kentucky at a new plant – thus improving quality (an oxymoron in older Corvettes), America wouldn’t see a new Corvette in 1983. Production was delayed until 1984. Two, two-color options were available on all 1982 Corvettes and many were painted in such a combination, as is ours. This Corvette is a National Corvette Restorers Society award winner.
