2000 Boyd Coddington Boydster II

We acquired this fiber-glass bodied Hot Rod from Boyd Coddington a number of years ago – with the intention of having it built by a local body shop.  The car languished in the body shop for several years and very little work was accomplished. 

We then contacted Boyd and asked him to take the car back and finish it.  He agreed and the car went back to California.  There it sat for another 3 to 4 years, unfinished.  Boyd Coddington died and this car was left in his shop.  His widow thought that a premium should be added to the price to reclaim it because she believed that, since her husband’s passing, the car should be worth more. 

After the attorneys were finished the car returned to us, again, unfinished.  We’ll finish it ourselves in the near future – and she’ll be a beauty then, albeit in a different color.
