The Burt Collection, LLC was founded in 2009 by Paul J. Burt to offer northern Illinois a premier facility for the restoration of classic, exotic and special-interest vehicles.

“As a personal collector, I saw a pressing need on the North Shore for a dealer and restoration shop that offered superior craftsmanship at reasonable rates. We wanted to offer the auto-enthusiasts we know a place where they could enjoy an immersive environment of automobilia and rolling masterpieces while having the confidence that any service or restoration work would be done reasonably and done right” said Paul J. Burt, Founder of The  Burt Collection.

The Burt Collection offers a variety of services, including everything from frame-off restorations, to superior bodywork and paint repairs, motor, transmission and brake work.  The Burt Collection also offers winter tire rotation, collector car storage, eBay listing service, consignment sales and a location service through which we find the car of your dreams.

In addition to restoration and repair, The Burt Collection, LLC is also a licensed Illinois auto dealer.  At our facility in Lake Forest, Illinois, you will find many exquisite and rare cars currently available for sale or consignment.
